Go the Extra Mile for PWS
Raise money for the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research by running 2.1 miles or go the extra mile and complete a full 5k (3.1 miles).
5k begins at 10am; 2.1 mile begins at 10:30am.
Race day registration and packet pickup begins at 8:30am
Participants of the Go the Extra Mile event will be eligible for some really great prizes.
When you register you will receive a donation page. The participant that raises the most money will win an Apple Ipod Touch.
There a will also be a raffle for participants that raise at least $100. A $100 donation will earn 1 raffle ticket, $200 will earn 2 tickets, $400 will earn 4 tickets, $800 will earn 8 tickets,etc. The amount of tickets doubles when your donation doubles. The winner of this raffle will win a trip TBD.
Participants that register for the 2.1 mile event will receive 2 tickets into the Go the Extra Mile raffle. Participants that register for the 5k will receive 5 tickets into the Go the Extra Mile raffle. The winner of this raffle will win a Wii fit bundle with balance board.
The fastest male and female finishers will win free movie passes to Regal Cinemas.
